Ponzi (hemiparesis)'s Sponsorship Page
Ponzi (hemiparesis)

Ponzi arrived 9/29/18, a mostly feral 6-month-old girl with problems using her leg.  Her difficulties progressed and ultimately Ponzi was diagnosed with a cervical spine infection, presumably tetanus, that thankfully was successfully treated but left Ponzi with left hemiparesis.  Such a blessing to have this girl survive.  Ponzi is insecure about her slow gait and general inability to get away, so she is quick to skedaddle as fast as her awkward ambling can carry her whenever anyone arrives.  She does not like visitors nor does she care to give anyone but her chosen human any attention.  Ponzi requires a large, low litterbox in the middle of her world, one surrounded with wee-wee pads works best as she doesn't get the urine into the litterbox itself in spite of her efforts.  Ponzi has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper.  She tested negative for FIV/FeLV.  Ponzi theoretically is available for adoption for $50 to an ideal home situation, but Ponzi herself would have to approve of the human.
